What does “noindex” actually mean?
A noindex directive asks search engines not to include a page in search results. It can live in an HTML meta tag or an HTTP response header. It’s useful on private or staging content, and easy to leave on a public page by accident.
What’s included for free?

Will this guarantee my pages stay in Google?
No tool can guarantee search inclusion. IndexWatch detects the access and indexing rules it can observe. Search engines make indexing decisions, and we don’t check Google Search Console or render JavaScript.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No plugin or tracking script is needed. We fetch your public pages and robots.txt from outside your website. If a firewall blocks our requests, we report the access problem so you can review it.
How quickly will I know about a change?
Changes are detected on the next completed check. Your plan sets the available monitoring intervals. See pricing to compare check frequencies. Intervals are targets, and busy sites, rate limits or retries can delay results. Email alerts are available when you enable them in Settings.
